There’s something majestic about late hours in the early morning. Over the course of several months, I developed a particular routine. First, I’d start with taking a mid-day nap, and I wouldn’t set any alarms. I’d just sleep until I naturally woke up. Which sounds trivial, I suppose. Because what is so significant about taking a daytime nap?  Well, it’s because I had some spare time on my hands. Understand, that not everyone can take catnaps at two or three o’clock on a Wednesday afternoon.  However, I could. For a time… Previously, I was caught up in the rigmarole of the “professional” life cycle. Mykonos Blue

‹ › The first thing I noticed was the way the light moved across the room. It did not arrive all at once. It came slowly, brushing against the edges of the walls, touching the corners of the photographs, then settling over everything like it had been invited. The room felt familiar, but not fixed. It carried pieces of the past, small reminders of people, places, conversations, and unfinished thoughts that still seemed to be hanging in the air. Every object seemed to have its own quiet pulse. Outside, the street was moving in its usual way. Cars passed without apology. People walked with bags, headphones, phones, and thoughts they would probably never say out loud. Creative Process in Photo’s Pt 2

Preliminary Thoughts Prelimary Thoughts Like many millennials, my web design experience started with Myspace. Come to think of it... I believe my old username was LilPatchy7... In 2009, I took a journalism course and my professor introduced me to something called a "blog" (thanks Andrea). So, I created my first site using Blogger, and it was called EncyloPat and the color theme was black/cyan/pink. I began working for The Seattle Times in 2010 where I was responsible for data entry and database management for high school prep sports. Which is just a fancy way of saying that I entered high school rosters and stats for the website and newspaper.
